This photograph transports us back to 2010. It captures the very first experimental prototypes—a stair-climbing wheelchair and a stair-climbing trolley—created at the dawn of EmssRobot. Although they lack the sleek, streamlined aesthetics of our current Border or Nova X series, they embody our founding vision: to ensure that no staircase in the world remains too difficult to climb.

Starting with this yellow, first-generation unit, we embarked on a journey marked by countless tests, setbacks, and iterations. Its minimalist track structure and manual-assist design laid the foundational groundwork for the electric stair-climbing technology that would later take the world by storm.

A tribute to our original intent; a tribute to every leap taken from "zero to one."

Behind every industry giant stands a "Prototype No. 1"—a device of monumental significance.

This is the first-generation tracked stair-climbing machine we developed in 2010. At that time, transporting heavy loads up staircases relied almost entirely on sheer human effort. We pioneered the integration of high-traction tracks with a load-balancing frame, aiming to resolve the critical challenge of transporting elderly residents up and down the stairs in older buildings.

Upon completing our first prototype, we eagerly showcased it at professional trade exhibitions, thereby laying the foundation for the stair-climbing wheelchair market in China. (Initially, stair-climbing wheelchairs lacked a formal classification within China's medical device regulatory framework; however, driven by our persistent advocacy, a specific regulatory definition for stair-climbing wheelchairs was eventually established.)

2026: Offering a comprehensive product line featuring stair-climbing wheelchairs and trolleys designed to meet a diverse range of specific needs.

From early prototypes to intelligent material handling solutions—while the technology itself evolves, our unwavering pursuit of ultimate efficiency remains constant.

This is EmssRobot—established in 2012, defining the future of material handling.
